@SwoleChungus21 @ProbablyNotBK Thanks, man. Yeah, the timing was awful. There are obviously assholes in every fan base, so I can't excuse everyone, but in my 9 years of attending most every game, the fans seem to pretty consistently applaud when an opposing player is able to get up. Do hope Poehling's ok.

@SwoleChungus21 @ProbablyNotBK Yes, and I contend that in my section and everywhere I could see, fans did both for both players.
They announced the penalty at the same time as Poehling got up, which was unfortunate because people were booing the penalty but not the player.

@leighantics @ProbablyNotBK I was there too big dawg. Drove out from California. There was notibly more cheering when doro skated off the ice. Idc what team you root for if a player is badly injured, out of respect you cheer and clap.

@kleebruin I was in the arena. We respectfully applauded when he was able to get up. There were boos because it was at the same time the penalty was announced.
