@highkeydracula Yeah it's no different than ice cream... I like coffee ice cream, some people like chocolate, we all get what we like and are happy with our ice creams. I wish people could see other things that way.

@leighdoinstuff It shouldn't matter at all. Me personally I love when people have different interests and favorites from my own. It solidifies in my mind "okay this person can definitely think for themselves."

Controversial horror hot take ??? A lot of people take film and horror too seriously. A lot of people tend to forget that these are just pieces of media. Arguing and losing friends over it makes no sense unless it's absolutely immoral.

@SievertVan Sex and violence take up totally different space in media. Apple and oranges. A lot of the sex is unnecessary to the story line or development of the characters. A lot of the violence is pivotal to the plot.

I'm not sure this is true. Most violence on screen isn't authentic but more people watch it more than ever

We signed a lease for a new place. This is the view from the street out front. Financially I am absolutely destroyed but emotionally I am hopeful. I'm giving notice today and it is going to be lengthy. I'm pretty pissed.

I sent the notice yesterday. It was 4 pages highlighting issues with this place and the repairs I did and the landlord's neglect. My friend said it was informative and concise. I bet the new rental Management agency is like... Glad she's leaving! 🤣🙄
