@leiyangca @BlakeMurphyODC PR played a 10 inning game against Panama that balances out the 8 defensive innings from today, so I think both they and Canada are at 15 runs allowed in 45 defensive innings… next tie breaker is EARNED runs per defensive inning played, and Canada wins that by 3.

So, if Japan beats Venezuela and scores at least 3 runs, I think Canada qualifies for the Olympics on tiebreakers?

To clarify the * at the bottom of the graphic: The three way tiebreaker is runs allowed / defensive outs recorded in the common games. So if the game goes to extras, the U.S. is still out via a Mexico win with 5 runs scored by Mexico because Italy will have racked up more outs. Basically, if Mexico wins in extras, the U.S. better hope they get to at least 6 runs.
