@Justin_Marciano also, i didn't even read the entire email before i took meeting, i was just like yo cracked asian developers, i didn't even know he was offering me something, i tried to ask him if he'd just work for jobs i give him since it would be unethical for him to pretend to be me.

@Justin_Marciano i even tried to ask where in tokyo e.g. Yanaka or even Shibuya, which neighborhood and he paused for a long time and sent a response after we ended our meeting. his accent sounded like an East Asian accent i've never heard before lol.

@dhillonpost @om_patel5 I don’t tink so if it’s between pages. You have to ensure it copies the js behind a particular animation. CSS animations and transformations, usually it does.

THIS GUY MADE A CLAUDE CODE SKILL THAT CLONES ANY WEBSITE IN ONE PROMPT everyone tries to clone websites by taking screenshots and hoping for the best. that gets you maybe halfway there. there's a better way. Claude Code has a built-in Chrome MCP that goes straight to the source and pulls assets and code directly. no more guessing fonts. no more eyeballing component sizes. no more trying to recreate animations from a screenshot. here's what the skill does behind the scenes: > opens Chrome MCP and navigates to the target website > takes screenshots and extracts the foundation (fonts, colors, layout, global patterns) > builds the clone's foundation from the collected data > launches parallel agents to clone individual sections at the same time > reviews all the agents' work, merges everything, and assembles the final clone one prompt. fully cloned website. AND its open source too.

correction/expansion on this: 1. download SingleFile (chrome extension) 2. ask claude to split into standard folder structure (html, css, fonts) exact css, no changes (you can skip this, but sometimes the files are like 1.8mb because it contains images, fonts, and it increases the context size for the llm during possibly a conversation with many chats, so modularity avoids this) 3. feed claude: the inspiration html+css AND your html 4. ask it to map the inspiration's exact classes + fonts to your html where suitable 5. for any classes without a direct parallel ask it to interpret the design style and handle them use claude for this specifically. i've tried other models (including some sota) and they either silently modify the css, make questionable design calls, or just fail to apply it right. claude respects the source and reasons about design intent better than anything else i've tried. full example in share link claude.ai/share/118dcbcc…

@om_patel5 i just use a chrome extension called single file then ask it to organize the downloaded site, and separate it into css, html, font files etc.

@aakashgupta this is why i love outsider artists so much, they usually use existing methods in interesting and new ways, and they're very determined to make a good song despite their lack of technical ability.

A 21-year-old loading Coca-Cola trucks in Owatonna, Minnesota. Can't sleep after his night shifts. So he sits on the floor of his parents' basement at 2 AM with a MicroKorg synth on his lap. He has zero audio engineering training. Pressing buttons and turning knobs without knowing what they do. He builds a little "ping" sound, routes it through some guitar pedals, hums melodies over it in gibberish for a few days, then fills in the words. Three days. Done. Wasn't even his favorite song on the album. "Fireflies" went #1 in 26 countries. 10 million copies sold. Diamond certified. Hit a billion Spotify streams last month. Adam Young had no label, no producer, no co-writers, no strategy. He had insomnia and a $500 synthesizer in a basement in a town of 25,000 people.

BREAKING 🚨: This is Matthew Gallagher, who made 800+ Facebook accounts for fake doctors to advertise on Facebook — and went on to build a GLP-1 telehealth company with just $20,000, AI, and only one full-time teammate: his brother. It generated $401M in 2025 and could reach $1.8B in 2026.

And to think, the Cluely bro could have just aced his Netflix interview loop, shut the fuck up and coasted on his half million tc. But nope. lol all the morons here who cheered him on, as though an ai cheating startup is some noble pursuit.
Corey Quinn@QuinnyPig

Affected client: @cluely Yes, that Cluely, the company that sells AI overlays to help people cheat interviews. A company whose entire value prop is undetectable deception was getting its compliance from a company whose entire value prop is undetectable deception. Synergy!
