@Mjtierney13 @TG4TV There was a league format and it’s jettisoned for having no jeopardy. Total bullshit. It was a brilliant format

Unreal stuff on league final day from @TG4TV with the multi screen 👏 Imagine the championship was league format, this would be fairytale stuff during the summer.

@ExtremeFootbal4 obviously born in the 80s or 90s. Pathetic list. Too many glaring errors to be able to list them all but Kilbane at 9 is proably the worst

Absolutely diabolical decision to give a penalty there for Derry v Louth. Zero excuse for getting that wrong. Justice absolutely done with the miss !! #gaa

@quarterfirst4 If that was win only your tweet would be valid but it’s 12 places. They are still probably betting over broke on the place market.

@CahairOKane1 Armagh tv coverage has definitely affected my attendance of Armagh championship games. Especially if the weather isn’t great I’d be inclined to watch rather go. I’d say they don’t really mind as getting the same money but it’s not good for the games themselves if less are there

Attendance or TV is a valid debate. Armchair fans want every game on TV. Should that be facilitated? There are loads of games you’d want to watch and can’t. But surely showing every single big game would crush attendances eventually? Becomes a choice of watch 3 on TV or go to 1
Declan McBennettRTE@RTEmcbennettd

Post Congress it’s time for mature debate on what is wanted/needed with regard to GAA coverage. Priority to Attendance or tv ? How many games given there are more than ever - what level of games & what level of coverage. Simply shouting for the game “I want to see” isn’t enough.

@m_brosnan Armagh dont do that nearly enough when they overturn the ball. Mc Cabe as HF option for kick pass was massive. Think Grugan be perfect man for that role

@lemallon I drive for a living Damien and I couldn’t agree more, I witness people getting so frustrated because someone’s doing 50km in an 80km for twenty minutes with very little opportunity to pass, you can see in advance someone is going to take a chance they shouldn’t

Driving a 340mile 7 hr round trip on roads with very few passing stretches makes me more convinced that overly slow drivers are a far bigger danger than speeders. The frustration that builds behind crawlers leads to massive risks taken. 40mph drivers in 60 zones should be fined

@DavidSneyd @thejournal_ie if a GAA journalist consistently attacked the League of Ireland the way you invariably use any negative football story to criticise the GAA, they would be rightly riduculed. Your obvious loathing for everything associated with it makes any article incredibly unbalanced.

50 years ago, every GAA trophy was won by an Irish team. In 50 years time, we'll have GAA facilities on par with the best sporting facilities in the world, and every GAA trophy will still be won by an Irish team. What's the end game?
