 This milestone follows work by DIGNITY, Amnesty International Denmark, and the Institute for Human Rights. My team members at Amnesty, Elise Bangert, in the War Crimes Committee and Lisa Blinkenberg worked hard for this. DIGNITY played a vital role w input for this law.

Problems include reduction of legal standards and guarantees in centers for migrant children, mistreatment,abuse, overcrowding, unsanitary conditions,threats,protracted incarceration. Plus trauma from the dangerous West Africa-Canaries journey, averaging 33 deaths per day.../4
