what i get for participating in a trend instead of continuing to avoid fandom and do my own esoteric shit

people can't decide if my kit redesign is too similar to the og or too different, is she a completely dissimilar oc or is she so similar that she shouldnt be called a redesign but a redraw in "my style" (i didnt draw her in my style i was imitating a ps2 "low poly" style)

you wouldnt believe the shit i see when im having an ocular migraine it no lie literally starts to look like this and i have to lay down and rest my eyes for some hours until it stops

i refuse to believe some people dont experience visual snow. i just wont accept that some ppl could be seeing in 4kHD and not full grain super 8 like me

@lemonssplice yea lol..i personally don’t have any strong opinions, i’m not crazy abt kits og design in the first place..but someone else said that yours looks believable as a low poly character, and i can totally imagine her in 3d! i would like to model her but i think thats a job for a pro😓

the only real differences in stylization is iris size, i don't think my kit looks especially childlike, just "cuter"? like a chibi. her waist is also less cinched which i guess could indicate less immediate "maturity" but i dont think thats that big a deal here

@OurkeelyaXa i did change elements of her design, adding the belt, changing her gauntlets, adding the visor, changing her hair, etc. but she is more similar to the original than a lot of other peoples redesigns yeah that was purposeful

@lemonssplice You didn't redesign her, you just drew her in your own art style and WOW! I love it so much especially the legs and hair (Note for other viewers: please comment with something nice or just leave quietly, unnecessary criticism isn't required)
