Wow, @WeAreDevs was even better than last year. 3 packed days, many new people (special mentions @tech__unicorn and @lenadroid), great conversations, and one of the most incredible moments of my year. This was my fifth time at WeAreDevelopers, and my third time speaking on the main stage. It is still the biggest tech event I attend every year. This conference will always be special to me because, back in 2022, WeAreDevelopers was the first tech conference to invite me as a speaker. At the time, I had almost no public speaking experience. That opportunity pushed me in a completely new direction and played a huge role in the journey that followed. Every year, when I come back from this conference, I feel like the hardest part of the year is already behind me. I still have another 7/10 conferences ahead, but this one always feels like a major milestone. Now it is time to get back to work and crush the rest of the year. Even if it is Sunday.

We landed and alive!

I’m on this flight from Berlin to Seattle with a layover in New York. They announced that they discovered a malfunctioning device, reassured us that everything is okay, but that we cannot cross the Atlantic like that, so need to return to Berlin. 10 minutes later, now they say the malfunctioning alert was a mistake, and we keep flying. I really want to believe in reliable systems right now! Love you all 😅

Yes! The legend is back! Krzysztof and I first met 11 years ago at a tech conference in Krakow Poland. And I randomly recognized him in Berlin at @WeAreDevs. From our F# days, and now he’s working on frontier stuff at GitHub Next!

I'm tired! So much to catch up on and so many videos to record! But doing literally everything at @WeAreDevs, including the afterparty and then heading straight to the airport at 4 AM, was absolutely worth it! An incredible experience, as always. Kudos to all the organizers!!
