@WickedestWinch Terrible argument. None of those jobs except bouncer are "adult" work, the only reason they're relegated to adults is because of the limits that make it impossible for children to enter. Those limits don't exist in the sex trade.

The thing these people refuse to understand is that I still want to abolish all wage labor because, YES, all work IS exploitative. The problem is, no one can deny that adding a sexual dynamic to labor creates something that is ontologically different from non-sexual labor.

Yeah except all of these jobs have some limitations that make it almost impossible for a 16 year old to enter into that profession. There are actual children in the sex trade right now

The fact that you should (if you're not deranged) be repulsed by the thought of a 16 year old "doing" sex work demonstrates that the sex trade is fundamentally different than other industries.

All physical assault is bad, yes, but there's a reason we categorize sexual assault differently than physical assault. There's a reason we categorize physical domestic abuse differently than physical assault. Dynamics have been changed. Like why is this hard to understand?!

I said it before and I'll say it again. If every single "sex worker" (hate that term honestly but) was willfully and happily involved in the trade with the exception of literally ONE, I'd do everything I could to burn it all down because that one person is getting fucking raped.
