Essentially your 20s is just understanding that you can’t plan your way through life like you think. It’s a long unlearning that control & staying the same isn’t the key to life, but the ability to constantly evolve through changes.

looking back at situations you felt you were wronged in and finding the bits you can take responsibility for is both painful but therapeutic. we are all only human. doing our best. sometimes we hurt people without meaning to. but we can grow and learn.

a healthy relationship requires uncomfortable communication to survive. people think you find the right person and you just click for life but that isn’t the case. you need to be vulnerable and continue growing throughout the relationship for it to thrive.

i been saying ima do something for Halloween next year for the past 10 years.

Hard pill to swallow : a lot of us practice emotional avoidance & call it a positive mindset.

i don’t agree with the whole “ I’m giving people the same energy they give me “. I think you should give people your pure, truest energy, the realest version of you, and if they don’t appreciate you then you can walk away. why would you lower yourself just because they are low
