@VINIK222 yeah it seems to be a cultural difference. in a lot of western countries men wearing high heels, dresses and makeup is seen as a very positive thing most of the time because it is seen as breaking gender stereotypes and most of the time it is not done out of mockery. +

ok so tbf w the heels thing I can’t speak for all the kr fans upset but some of them are concerned from the angle that if it IS an unserious cover in heels that &team will get backlash in kr if it’s seen as “mocking” girl groups bc it’s not as acceptable now as it was 10yrs ago

honestly a lot of people generally fail to consider how different cultures have different histories and are at different stages of development and there is always so much nuance and context to be considered and i wish people would try to understand a situation before judging +

@uriharua @wenoiswang @hojulune but if its deemed as something funny rather than something done seriously it comes across as mockery and you cannot them to not have those feelings and be more open onto it needs to develop naturally
