I created a list of my favorite cafes to work at in NYC.
Coffee shops > offices.
I started my company inside a coffee shop.
Beautiful spaces. Good energy. Surrounded by people locking in. And you randomly meet the most interesting people.
My list includes the cafe name, neighborhood, and a proprietary, confidential scoring system based on:
- Work space (tables, outlets, WiFi, design)
- Food (quality, options, price)
- Music (playlist, can you take calls)
- People (do interesting people go here)
- Coffee (does it hit)
- Vibes (overall energy)
I'd love to share this list with you + add new spots.
Comment "CAFE" and I'll DM you the list.

Suicide does not end suffering, it carries it into the next world.
Dr Steiner believed the modern world fundamentally misunderstands suicide.
Because he believed the soul survives death; and carries its inner condition with it.
At natural death, the physical, etheric, and astral bodies separate in an ordered and lawful way.
But in suicide, this separation is violently interrupted before the soul has inwardly completed its relation to earthly life.
The result is not liberation, but disorientation.
The suffering remains because suffering does not originate in the body alone.
The body can be abandoned.
The soul cannot.
What tormented the person inwardly continues after death; often intensified by unresolved earthly impulses and the shock of sudden separation from life.
He even says the moment of death becomes one of the strongest memories carried into the spiritual world.
For this reason, the state of consciousness surrounding death matters immensely.
And yet Steiner speaks about suicide with profound compassion, never condemnation.
He saw it as a tragedy of spiritual isolation in an age that has lost connection with the deeper meaning of existence.
The karmic task does not disappear.
What was meant to be transformed through earthly struggle must eventually be faced again.
As Steiner writes:
“If he withdraws from the task by suicide, then the work which was intended for him must be done by another.”
Never “End the pain.”
Transform the pain, because nothing unresolved disappears through destruction alone.

@heavenbrat @FineAssFrankie All jokes aside…
The research supporting this is INSANE
Holding in our emotions without effectively processing and releasing them causes DISEASE (dis-ease) in the body!!!
Even if it’s not a “crash out” PLEASE find a way to let that energy and emotion flow freely!!

Notes on the best book I ever read: Not Fade Away
Peter Barton was a media exec worth $200M. As he was dying of cancer, he wrote about how to LIVE
He lived hard. He took risks. He built things. He loved deeply. He coached the kids.
A few of my favorite takeaways (more to come so hit follow):

I never really got to explain this journal clearly so I’m going to start being transparent, this journal was gifted to me in October of last year when I started to learn how clothes are made. I decided to document everything I’ve been learning by writing and putting Polaroids in it. I’ve carried this with me ever since and what I have started doing is scanning the pages and putting them online for anyone else learning about clothing. I’m grateful for who I’ve met and what I’m continuously learning. I feel like I need to share it with you guys.

Christopher Nolan is considered a great director today because cinema is terrible now.
Back when he first came out 20-25 years ago he was just another ok director. No one thought he was one of the best. He was just decent, among other decent and some much better directors.
There are two ways to rise in the world. Do good work. Or wait until things collapse and they will call you great.

@rosethaaartist LeBron will never be the greatest and most iconic player ever I will concede that. But he’s the best player ever. Best as in if you grade all players to ever play the game on their impact to their team, problems they give opposing defenses, how long were they the best for etc.

i like people that went too far....
failed alchoholic artist painting in a garage, millionaire that lost his mind chasing another zero, meth head under the bridge talking to himself like a prophet, fighter with brain damage still running at 5am, waitress chain smoking after shift staring into traffic, etc,
thats real life to me
not polished status robots comparing watches, followers, who got invited where
dont care if someone is rich or homeless. i care if theres something burning inside them
