Felt great when the title of my thesis was read out and my name was called during the graduation ceremony at Ely Cathedral Saturday 01.06.24. The loud noise made by my husband and children, alongside the applause by everyone in the room, still echo in my ears. I did it! #oulife

Had a lovely time at the @OU_WELS @WELSPGResearch conference on Saturday. The theme was 'Alice in Wonderland' and I particularly enjoy the creative & affirming approach. Met several more new wonderful fellow travellers on their research trajectories at different stages of life 🙂

This is our amazing Strelitzia in our conservatory at the moment. She’s just doing her thing and kicking out all her petals. Strelitzias are indigenous to South Africa and we bought her at the Eden Project about 10 years ago after we came from SA, to live back in the UK. 🧡🇿🇦🇬🇧

And, at this moment, @kevinhollinrake uses these numbers to justify with the public that he’s working hard and good progress is being made. The public can exhibit judgment and know that numbers do not tell the human story. They understand the human stories and the ethics at play.

@kevinhollinrake You clearly haven't worked hard enough then! There is nothing fair or equitable about the derisory offers being made in the GLO scheme. The ones accepted are small claims or desperate people we both know that!! Stop wasting taxpayers cash trying not to pay them!
