When was last time an anime was so Loved and rated 10 by almost everyone, not a single soul hating. Anime that really impacted lives of many with its great depiction of human emotions, deep rooted fears and problems.
Ikoku Nikki was a cultural phenomenon, truly a Masterpiece
Ikoku Nikki excels for the twelfth straight week in a row, there's no replicating this phenomena of excellence I'm afraid. Interesting observations made, particularly the A Part's specific scrutiny towards toxic masculinity, and the emotional maturity that comes from deviation.
“asa, not everybody falls in love. and that’s not necessary a bad thing. (…) at the very least, you can understand the fact that it’s nothing to be ashamed about”
once again, happy aro week 💚🤍
Surviving Romance animated MV was not on my bingo card for the year 2026 but I'm not complaining! Just wow. Getting PPURI of Link Click fame for the animation is a godsend, the expert boarding/direction nails the series' meta narrative on a microscopic level.
guyss what if we're platonic soulmates and we want to stay together forever also our love language is sharing warm meals together (super fun collab with my dearie prokkoli on tumblr)
