@DiogoSpinola3 @RaquelPortesGeo @amargerum1 Cool! Could you explain why the C:N ratio increased over time? In some spodosols in sandy subtropical Florida, the C:N ratio also reaches around 25 to 30. Thanks!

I first became aware of this practice during graduate school, where @jpschimel signed most of his comments. It took me over a decade to feel secure enough to adopt the same approach.

Recently, I started signing my comments as a reviewer and editor. Doing so reminds me of the responsibility and consequences of my feedback. It helps me to write more constructive and thoughtful responses. I hope the authors won't retaliate now that they know who wrote them.
