@bobthebobnes @thescottbarber This. In my crossfit classes, the fittest are usually 45+ working out 4,5 times per week plus cross-training with cycling, triathlons etc. I glory in their spirit at 40 and aim to get to their level by 45.

If they wanted it put me in as a Logistics O-4 I would definitely think about it.

@mymorristribe @thescottbarber Speaking as someone who picked up crossfit in my late 30s and just now hitting 40 and did a spartan type event last weekend, you can be active all you like, but I have picked up injuries doing less than I used to do now than I did before.

@thescottbarber Um, I ran my first marathon at 42. I'm running a 15k Tuff Mudder next month at age 45. I agree that most people give up on fitness, but not all.
