पंजाब के स्कूलों में अब हर बच्चे को AI एक कंपलसरी सब्जेक्ट के रूप में पढ़ाया जाएगा। इसमें AI के युग में जीने के लिए बच्चों को तैयार करने से लेकर AI Creator बनने तक का पूरा पाठ्यक्रम बनाया गया है, जिसे आज शिक्षा मंत्री @harjotbains के साथ मिलकर लॉन्च करने का अवसर मिला। पूरे देश में, यहाँ तक कि CBSE में भी अभी तक AI को एक कंपलसरी सब्जेक्ट के रूप में लागू नहीं किया गया है। जहाँ भी इस पर पहल हुई है, वहाँ AI को एक ऑप्शनल सब्जेक्ट के रूप में ही शामिल किया गया है। यह भगवंत मान सरकार का शिक्षा क्रांति की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है। सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि सरकार ने यह पाठ्यक्रम केवल लॉन्च करने के लिए लॉन्च नहीं किया, बल्कि उससे पहले सभी स्कूलों में IT से जुड़ा इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर उपलब्ध कराया। उससे भी पहले हर स्कूल में क्लासरूम बनवाने से लेकर बाउंड्री वॉल, बैठने के लिए फर्नीचर और टॉयलेट जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाएँ उपलब्ध कराई गईं। साथ ही टीचर्स को भी ट्रेन किया गया। इन सभी बुनियादी तैयारियों के बाद अब सरकार हर बच्चे के लिए AI का यह पाठ्यक्रम लेकर आई है।
