GIVE THIS A SHARE IF IT RESONATES WITH YOU 🙌🌅 Each day that passes, my sense of achievement grows. I remember the darkest days when I clung to addiction like wreckage from a sinking ship, believing it was the only thing keeping me afloat. But I found the courage to let go, trusting myself to stay afloat. There were days I felt like I was drowning, doubting my ability to survive. In those moments, I reached out for help, and people were there to support me until I could continue on my own. Letting go of that wreckage was one of the scariest things I've ever done. Today, I’m peacefully moving forward, about to step ashore onto a new island I’ve been aiming for. In four days, I'll celebrate one year of sobriety. If you're reading this and think you can't do it, know that I once felt the same way. But here I am, nearly a year later, sharing this message of hope with you. You can do it. I believe in you. As a person who is just starting off in seeking a path in full-time pastoral ministry, one thing that really stands out to me is a Pastor who makes sure that their family gets prioritized. I don't always that, but when I do, I know I'm in a healthy spot. #pastor #ministrylife
