@mickrich384 Why not do the other way around? Extract them from Flutter and re-export them in the foundation library,

@ASalvadorini @felangelov This a video of the tutorial I explained earlier, maybe it will be more easier to understand. By clicking in the (i) button, we enter in a tutorial which is the app encapsulated within the app but with fake cubits to show how to pay without create a real transaction.

@lets4r @felangelov I guess it depends what we mean here with "scoping a notifier". So far, I understand it so that I can overwrite a notifier with another version of the same notifier from a certain widget tree downwards, like I do with the theme for instance. This, you cannot do with Minimal ⬇️

@ASalvadorini @felangelov I find the scoping very useful in some situations. For example in our app, we created an animated tutorial of an entire feature (a fake app inside our app in other terms), "just" by providing fake cubits, thanks to scoping. It would have been a nightmare without it I think.

@felangelov Yes, by design. Only the reference is global. While I see no reasons to scope a notifier with the minimal architecture, notifiers are not like theme which could be different depending on the widget tree

I could not care less about the iPhone 16 lunching in a month if it was not for the piece of trash the 15 Pro is. 🥲 Worst battery in any iPhone I ever owned since it’s overheating all the time. 🔥

I think you are missing my point, or my point was not clear enough. If a widget is marked as dirty, there will be build pass to the subtree, and the descendent elements can be removed/replaced/updated during this pass. If the child in the subtree is const, the subtree of that const widget won't be rebuilt during that frame, unless the widgets in the subtree are independently marked as dirty.

I'm with Matan 💯% on this misconception of 'const', and my mental model is crystal clear on it. If you have any doubts about it, please go on reading this very short 🧵 on 'const' ⬇️ #Flutter #flutterdev
Matan Lurey@MatanLurey

This is a common misconception. `const` tells the compiler "create at most one instance of this expression, cache it, and refer to it instead of allocating at runtime". You can do ~the exact same thing by pre-creating widgets, storing them in static fields, and refering to them.

@aloisdeniel Oh no 😢. I'm so sad too. I saw he had five children, I can't stop thinking about them 😢. I never met him, but every time I saw one of his contributions, I learnt a lot. Every Flutter apps out there has a piece of him in it 💙
