Of the 888,000 donors who gave to Kamala Harris in the last 24 hours, *60%* made their *first* contribution.
That's roughly *532,800* Americans who went out of their way to donate to Kamala's campaign.

Hard for me to support someone with no values, lies, cheats, rapes, demeans women, hates immigrants like me. He may cut my taxes or reduce some regulation but that is no reason to accept depravity in his personal values. Do you want President who will set back climate by a decade in his first year? Do you want his example for your kids as values?

I love this. In every initial coaching session I’ve done for the last 10 years, I invite clients to shift from identifying with the voice in their head to the one listening to the voice. I think it’s one of the most important and profound shifts we can make as human beings.

I just realized the other day that I’ve worked for about 25 years now…. Perhaps obvious, but the most important work I’ve done has been to work on myself. The perhaps less obvious, the most important skill I keep needing to work on - is to connect to others. As an introvert, my mom probably realized this, so she got me to join a theater group. It was so difficult for me, but being part of that group taught me so much. 25 years in I’ve come to realize - it takes a village - and it’s the relationships we form, the teams we’re part of that truly define our journey.

I’m at the airport reading, and a man in his ~60s walks by me and says: “Great book. Wish I had it earlier.” So I ask, “Really? Why?” That sparked a convo about how he went from Harvard MBA to investment banking in NYC… to an existential crisis at 35 where he lost himself, gave it all up, found himself, met his wife, and built multiple business. What stuck with me the most is how he talked about his wife. He just LIT up. “If you think I’ve had an interesting life, you should meet my wife! She’d blow you away. She blows everyone away. She’s the most impressive woman I’ve ever met. She’s my linchpin.” Me: “What advice would you give for choosing a life partner?” Him: “If you have a big vision and want a big life, you need someone who knocks your socks off. It’s gotta feel like winning the lottery. This person is your #1 advice giver. Your lifelong backup. Your companion for thousands of meals, events, problems. You need someone better than you in a lot of ways. Whose mind and heart amaze you. I wake up every day like, ‘How on earth did I land her?’ She says the same thing. That’s when you know.” Then he showed me like 300 pictures of them and their kids on vacation around the world. Couple goals. 🥹

Big aha moment on the plane yesterday. I've never been able to fall asleep while seated. Like, I'd grumpily shift around and try to find a comfortable position and hate every second of it.
I was reading The Surrender Experiment and thought: what if I don't try to fall asleep? What if I just sit down, eyes closed, hands on my lap?
Weird at first, especially for someone who doesn't meditate. Felt like quitting but kept still and focused on my breath.
It was three hours later when I reopened my eyes. I'd fallen asleep without realizing it. This is a huge deal for me. I've unlocked the power to sleep anywhere! 🪄
