hi miks, here again. i wanted to message you here on x, but i lost my account. honestly, the reason i tried to come back was to message you, that’s the only way i knew how to reach you. it makes me sad that i can no longer send you sweet words whenever i feel like it. 🥹 anyway, i want to say i miss you, but not really. i’ve been here the whole time. i stay updated through tash, and whenever i get curious about what’s happening with you, i check for updates. you’ve grown so much, miks. your 2023 and 2024 self would be so proud of who you are becoming. those wishes you quietly made under the table during new year while eating grapes, those prayers you cried yourself to sleep hoping it would be answered, those dreams your younger self kept aiming for, they are finally happening. truly happening. your younger self must be so proud. and so are we. i am so proud of everything you are becoming. and if there’s one thing i want to remind you, it’s.. always stay strong. stay strong enough to rest when you need to. strong enough to step back from noise that does not serve you. strong enough to choose peace over proving a point. no words can truly hurt you unless you allow them to. you know yourself more than anyone else does. and as i’ve always told you, you’ve been through worse. probably your own version of hell. some things may still pinch your heart, but they will never destroy the mahika you built from the countless storms you survived, the battles you won, and even the ones you almost gave up on but still chose to fight. you’re doing better, miks. you’re already doing well, and i am genuinely happy for you. keep shining. let your work speak. let time prove everything. no matter what happens, i am still here. the miks i got to know inside pbb and the mika i’ve seen after the show are still the same person to me. stay strong, mika. you’re no longer fighting alone. you have us. see you when i see you, miks. my kdlex fangirl era was probably the peak of my fangirl life. kakagraduate ko lang ng law school then, and i was reviewing, so whenever i felt stressed from studying or when my anxiety kicked in, dun ako bumababad sa fangirling. as in super invested, halos lahat ng updates chinecheck ko, not just about my favorite babies but also about the fellow fans who eventually became friends. kahit online lang kami nagkakilala, we stayed connected through gmeet, uso pa yun before, naka off cam pa lagi hahaha, or viber for some. wala pang call feature si x that time, twitter pa siya noon, char, as if ang tagal hahaha 😂 we would spend so much time understanding people, analyzing situations, and overthinking things. looking back now, medyo nakaka cringe hahaha, but it was genuinely a happy time. i never regretted any of it. it kept me sane and became my safe haven from real life challenges. now, hindi na ako as active as before, but i still choose to stay, quietly keeping up with people who once became my peace. honestly, sila talaga yung dahilan why i stayed. kahit anong era pa, kahit magkakaiba na kami ng sinusuportahan ngayon, we could never bring ourselves to hate each other, because there was a time we were all united. ang dami nang nagbago. kanina, @_yeeepp and i were talking about work, and i suddenly remembered how she used to say na mag rest muna siya kasi busy sa school. mag faface to face clases na kasi hahaha and there’s @carrelsaezn, @lunabiiiiiiiiii, @/archaicambivert, @ItsBubbly30, @shetweetsblah and so many others. i really miss those times. magulo lagi ang plaza, but funny how what stayed with me is not the chaos, but how it healed my mind and my heart 🤍

ca was one of the og admins of the kdlex fandom since pbb. super creative, level headed, and very understanding sa lahat ng issues noon. kahit naging inactive kami because, well, life happens, the connection stayed. then came pbb collove season 1, and of course, same person ulit ang sinuportahan namin 😌 finally met her in person during the collove concert and so on and so forth. all this habang nagrereview siya for the board exam or kakagraduate lang. she’s always been eloquent, smart, and hardworking, so honestly, passing the board feels like… expected na 😏 but still, so proud of you, ca. dasurv so much!!! 🤍 ps. so her sending me a message just minutes after the release ng result feels like, may napagtapos akong anak hahahaha ang special ko naman 🥺 love you, @carrelsaezn

I feel like we’ve gotten too comfortable throwing hate online without thinking about how that affects actual human beings who have done nothing wrong. This is for all fandoms. Artists have lives too. It’s gone below the belt. Why did we reach this point?
