@leughs And what this tool in particular is doing is not replacing the artist's direct input. It's taking that input and adjusting the other vertices to match that change. To do it manually requires retouching each individual vert to get the clean shapes you need.

@leughs In the case of organic modeling, the largest creativity comes in shaping and sculpting your piece. Retopology is one case where alleviating a bit of tedium here or there helps the artist focus more on the sculpt.

Creativity is our natural talent. Concept artist exist that would love to help bring concepts into fruition. The creative process is human. Full stop

With that logic absolutely no concept art has integrity and that would actually be true. Concepts are simply supposed to give your ACTUAL artist something to work off of. AI used as for concept is a proper and good use of it, especially given today’s climate where some people believe it’s completely fine take to take months to complete a work I’m not only paying for but have a set deadline for. I can spend 5 bucks on a few generated concepts, then pay two REALLY GOOD artists to bring it to life. Concepts are not completed work and shouldn’t be judged as such, and that’s part of why I somewhat can’t stand arttwt
