a 30 year mortgage is the biggest scam nobody talks about 80% of your monthly payment isn’t even going toward the house. it’s going to interest, property taxes on a home you technically don’t own, insurance, and other useless shit that does nothing for you you pay $3000 a month and maybe $400 of it goes toward actually owning the house. the rest goes straight into the bank’s pocket for the privilege of borrowing money they created out of thin air and if you stop paying the property taxes on the house you “own” they take it from you. so you never really own it.. you’re just renting it from the government with extra steps by the time you pay it off in 30 years you’ve paid for the house almost 3 times over. a $300k house costs you $800k when it’s all said and done but yeah home ownership is the american dream lmfaoo for the banks maybe

@RealEmirHan The white character was not the last Samurai. 🤣 Also, Steven Seagal was like 500 lbs, and no one wants to see that.

Steven Seagal says Tom Cruise was one of the worst casting choices in The Last Samurai. “They have a 5-foot-2-inch little guy, whether he was straight or gay, I don’t know. He had never been to Japan. He doesn’t speak Japanese. He has never held a sword. They make him the Last Samurai.” “I was raised in Japan. I was schooled in martial arts. I was given the title of master. We got 450,000 phone calls from everybody in the world saying, ‘That role was perfect for you. How did that happen?” “Most of the people I know didn’t like the film and didn’t go see it. It’s just a classic example of Hollywood and the politics.”

This man does house inspections. But, he is not an inspector for the Builders, he is an inspector that the homebuyer hires to be thorough to document damages and deficiencies. He provides the buyer with a detailed report, photographs, and then the buyer forwards it to the builder to have them make the corrections. Check out this house. 🤯 These houses are in Florida. They are probably priced between $400K-$500k and you know they’re going to advertise them as luxury, brand new homes. What a waste of resources and materials. Crazy how terrible new home construction quality is in this country. It’s worth the money to hire a quality inspector of your own before you purchase a house. Have you ever had any nightmare stories when buying a new home? Something you didn’t catch before you bought it?

My favorite part of this is that the market is finally bad enough for people to wake up and start realizing all of this was ALWAYS true all along... 💯

I ran the numbers on renting and investing the difference vs. buying a home... The results are shocking. The setup: - Median U.S. home sale price: $398,000 (NAR, 2026) - Average U.S. rent: $2,000/mo (Zillow, 2026) - Mortgage rate: 6.51% (30yr fixed, 10% down) All in monthly cost of owning that home: - P&I: $2,266 - Property tax: $332 - Insurance: $215 - Maintenance: $332 - PMI: $149 - Total: $3,294/mo Renting cost: - Rent: $2,000 - Renters insurance: $14 - Total: $2,014/mo The renter saves $1,280/mo. Plus the $51,740 in down payment and closing costs never leaves their pocket. All of it goes into $VOO. Using the long term S&P 500 avg return of 10% and home appreciation of 3.4%/yr (the avg since 1891): After 10 years: - Renter portfolio: $334K - Home equity (net of selling costs): $219K - Renter wins by $115K After 20 years: - Renter portfolio: $927K - Home equity: $531K - Renter wins by $397K After 30 years: - Renter portfolio: $2.41M - Home equity: $1.02M - Renter wins by $1.39M Even if you give the home 5% annual appreciation, the renter still wins at every single checkpoint. At $VOO's actual historical return of 13.99%, the renter's portfolio hits $6.38M after 30 years. The home equity is still $1.02M. The part nobody talks about: after 30 years your rent is $5,614/mo. Sounds scary. But your portfolio is generating $20K+/mo at a 10% return. You could pay that rent 3x over and never touch the principal. A home is a place to live. $VOO and the stock market is a wealth building machine. Not financial advice. There are lots of variables I may be missing. Run your own numbers.

Shoutout to the person who moved money into crypto on payday before the bills even cleared. Who skipped going out this weekend so they could buy one more dip. Who opens their bank app and their crypto app back to back every Friday trying to figure out how much more they can stretch. You're not reckless. You're building something your family has never had. God sees the sacrifice behind every transfer

Henry Cavill and his longtime partner, Natalie Viscuso. They aren't particularly looks-matched. Most would agree he is noticeably better looking than her. Yet examples like this are quite common. It highlights how men frequently prioritize loyalty, honesty, and compatibility over purely superficial looks.
