I wonder if there's some rapidly space-filling + hardening foam charge that will immobilize and/or asphyxiate without too much destruction of materiel, given you can often target basically +- 2m of the face

@Robotbeat So, appreciably less power than a Prius, and only for a brief moment. That’s far from an unbelievable output, but having it not fling the robot also at Prius-like speeds would be its own challenge

To be clear, in order to pull off this level of speed with something with enough mass to stop a bullet, you probably need about 100kW peak power.

This is an easy yes, but also I'd spend that 30 seconds filling my mouth with sea water and then when the 30 seconds is over I'd put the water into a jar and let it evaporate so slowly I'd build a collection of sea salts from around the world

@arctanno As someone who has that going on: it is only a source of inconvenience. Online forms often can’t handle spaces and spelling it out over the phone is worse

Crawling around on the ground like an animal is teaching me things about movement that hundreds of hours of yoga had hardly touched. It's making my gait lithe, which was always a quality I coveted. Feels great, looks ridiculous, but progress is very rapid.
