#ntfc It was obviously over for this season, 6-8 weeks ago - I found it interesting that in 2026, our points per game equates to a full season tally of 19. Has there ever been such a poor run of form in the history of the league?

@Nelza82 It is for me. I remember going down to Torquay “the 62” where at least they tried. After the wimbledon match, i said we’d lose the remaining 10 matches. Easy money! We didn’t address the forward issues in August, and we still haven’t.

This may be the worst Cobblers side I’ve ever seen. At least the previous shit ones had some effort.

@ntfc we were down after the orient and vale matches, failing to make a change after the rotherham loss. That’s me done now this season. I’ll go to Cardiff because it’s a new ground (did Ninian some years ago) but no more. Complete abject failure, since the opener at Wigan.

Maybe I’ll be proved wrong but I can’t see Nolan being sacked. He’s too willing to work with this budget. He’s been positive enough about the board, more so than I think Brady was. I also don’t know what to even do about the team. Port Vale are absolutely terrible and we couldn’t get it going. The crowd turned at 1-0 at the team looked like they couldn’t take it. Horrible atmosphere and not sure what to do to improve it
