4.15) Im backing the English runners here as the Pertmps Final form looks the best to me. One Big Bang was 6.5L behind DoddieTheGreat at Cheltenham, but beat him at Haydock the time before… so that 9lb swing could be huge. Especially with Sean on board (he is on fire, winning 14 of his last 28) and could be massively overpriced at 14/1 for Owen’s only horse out here today. Jeriko gets a 3lb swing with Doddie too and that could give him a great opportunity and puts him rightful favourite. Doddie isn’t here to lose though. Brian Hughes rarely leaves northern England / Scotland… so to see him over here for one ride also is interesting and shows he must be keen that he can go close. I think those 3 replicate their performances in the Pertemps final and all go very close. Maybe foolish to take on the Irish but I’m going to. Maybe all 3 again in small each way singles ya know with 6 places.
