I fully believe we’ll finally get James Trafford, in the next 12 months, probably for between £35-40m. I think City saw an opportunity to resign him, raise his value and then sell on. Them looking to sign Donnarumma, who’s 26, shows JT is not the long term No.1 for them #NUFC

@NewcastleBrownX I’m sorry but I disagree with you. We never even made an offer for Delap and Pedro made it clear he wasn’t going anywhere to be 2nd choice. If Wissa wasn’t 1st choice to replace Wilson, why did we chase him all summer and not pivot to someone else when the 1st bid was rejected?

@lewy7 Don't agree. Delap/Pedro would have come if we had offered enough money. Wissa was an option but we pivoted to him, he was never first choice.

We need to dispel the myth that Eddie only got his 3rd or 4th targets last summer as well. Elanga, Wissa, Thiaw and Ramsey were all 1st choices. It just took the full summer to get Wissa. Also Ramsdale was a 2nd choice. It was literally only Woltemade that was 5th choice. #NUFC

@NewcastleBrownX Ekitike and Sesko were the targets to replace Isak. We didn’t bid for Delap and Pedro would never have joined with Isak here. We were linked to Wissa for ages and then chased him all summer. Its why he went on strike at Brentford. He was 100% Eddie’s 1st choice to replace Wilson.
