@eriktorenberg Fully support this. I’ve been doing @lexingtonbakes for a year now alongside my day job. I’m single and gave up my social life to do it. I can’t imagine how anyone with a partner or kids could do both jobs.

There should be a crowdfunding site for “I will leave my job to do X passion if I can raise Y amount” with the investors getting revenue upside in X There are so many people who want to pursue profitable passion projects but they just need a guaranteed salary to justify the risk
