Shoutout to our top contributor of the year, @etrepum, for ideating the DOM Slot API and automating package creation. And Meta's continued close partnership with @ivailop and the rest of the Bloomberg team, who have enabled a broader perspective on OSS and rich text editing.

Introducing lexical-examples 💫 The missing examples library for @lexicaljs Lexical is highly composable and allows you to do a lot of interesting stuff. To capture this, I created a small collection of patterns. Ready to use. For my own sake and hopefully yours too!

@amyruthworrall What do Lexical Web and iOS have in common? Best (native) performance, one API. Seamless cross-platform compatibility.

@zachcodes What are a couple of examples of things you'd like to see prioritized in the realm of docs?

I can't believe how long @lexicaljs has been out and the docs STILL have nothing. It's so good and SO powerful but you have to go find examples and read the code to do anything :(

We've recently fully rolled out our new @lexicaljs based Rich text editor at @LatticeHQ (~65 instances, many unique designs) and have seen a 99% decrease in RTE related errors, exceptions and tickets 🔥

We're looking at how we can best engage with the Lexical community. Are there any podcasts, streams, or other idea folks have that they'd like the core team to be involved in? We'd love to discuss ideas and share thoughts on the future of the project.

@daniguardio_la Awesome feedback! We'd love to hear some specifics if you have the time/inclination - especially around extensibility and where we might be able to improve the docs.

My thoughts on @lexicaljs after playing with it all night: - Nicer DX than slate - Severely lacking in docs - Official plugins are nice - Lack of configuration/customization/extensibility in official plugins is not so nice

At .@LatticeHQ we're piloting a new rich text editor that's powered by @lexicaljs -- So far we've removed over 2,500 lines of custom code from our older Slate based editor while simultaneously improving stability and performance
