Bob-Manuel Udokwu, the late Obinna Nwafor (AKA Saint Obi), and Zack Orji. This is almost twenty years ago. These Nollywood icons set the standard way back and are the reason Nigeria is the only African country with a globally recognised and patronised movie industry. I recently watched Bob-Manuel Udokwu in the 2024 Netflix movie, Hijack '93, and I must say, he is even beyond wine that ages with grace. And Zack Orji's staying power is enviable. He is still consistently brilliant as an actor to this very day.

My response to Peter Obi’s media people:
I wonder why all these incompetent politicians are turning President Bola Tinubu into their favourite whipping boy. The President has nothing to do with Obi’s abandonment of the Labour Party or the jam he appears to have run into in the ADC.
After using the Labour Party to vie for the highest office in the country, Obi dumped it in a classic case of use-and-dump. He failed to demonstrate leadership in resolving the party's crisis.
Instead, he went to the embrace of his IPOB base, the so-called Obidient movement, which is more active online. You would think the man would transform the movement into a political party. But no, he didn't do any such thing. He is just incapable of building an organic party of his own.
Because he knows he needs a political structure to realise his doomed dream of winning the presidency, he shopped for a cooked soup to partake in the ensuing party. The peripatetic politician moved to the hijacked ADC, an SPV bought by Atiku Abubakar from Ralph Nwosu. No due diligence appeared to have been conducted by the new owners, and thus, the nightmare they are confronting today.
What is the connection of Tinubu with the ADC crisis? Absolutely none. Whatever problem they have is self-inflicted. Obi and his co-travellers need to get their acts together, clear the mess in their new party and then compete for the presidential ticket. Let them go and settle with Nafiu Gombe and other disenchanted ADC members. As of now, Obi, without being made a candidate, is inconsequential for 2027. The fact that he came third in 2023 does not mean he will have the same showing in 2027, if he ever becomes a candidate of any party. 2023 is not like 2027. President Tinubu is an incumbent with many achievements to flaunt, most of which Obi has been blind to acknowledge. First things first. Let the man become a candidate first. All this blackmail against the President is sheer baloney, a very unfair attempt to besmirch his democratic credentials.

Thank You Maliq, even as a Christian I have to admit how Prophet Mohammad treated woman.
1. the majority of people in hell are woman (Sahih Bukhari 1:28)
2. Prayers can be cute off by passing woman. ((Sahih Bukhari 4:1032)
3. A woman's testimony is worth half that of a man. (Qur'an 2:282)
4. Woman are deficient in intelligence and religion. (Sahih Bukhari 1:6:301)
5. Muhamamd compares woman to donkeys and dogs(Sahih Bukhari 1:9:493)
6. A woman's consent is expressed by her silence(Sahih Bukhari 7:62:68:)
7. The Prophet used to have sex with all his wives in one night(Buhkari 7:62:6)
8. The Prophet Muhammad told other men they could only have four wives while he himself had 9 wives. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 12, Number 2233) 9. The Prophet encouraged a man to marry a young virgin girl so he could "play" with her and fondle her. (Sahih Buhkari 7:62:17)
10. If a woman refuses to sleep with her Husband angels curse her until the morning (Sahih Buhkari 7:62:121:)
11. A nation that makes a woman their ruler will never succeed. (Sahih al-Bukhari 7099)
12. Prophet Mohammad discouraged freeing a slave girl (Sahih al-Bukhari (2594)

@renoomokri RENO OMOKO When will you be matured and stop all these cheap politicking
English

If you are angry that Aso Rock is now using solar power..... Why don't you switch to solar power too .
Unlike Political power.... Solar power is available for everybody....
Whether you are poor or rich....
When Mobile network came... Nobody adviced Aso Rock to remain with NITEL...
The sun is Nigeria easiest and quickest route out of energy poverty....
Aso Rock spend billions of Naira on Diesel annually years before Tinubu became president the hapless Wailers were helpless....
Diesel refinery were absent till 2023....
Tinubu decided to use the sun we have freely and abundantly.... The hapless Wailers and modern day witches suddenly found the voice to bark because Nigeria won't waste billions to power Aso Rock again....
In the coming years ... NEPA will only be playing complementary role of few hours of energy for Boreholes, Ironing and freezers....& Probably for industries....
People with anything upstairs will emulate Aso Rock to embrace solar power for comfortable life...
Those that are born to wail will use the opportunity to make their lives more miserable...
It is because of these miserable Wailers that made the Urhobos to say....
It is better to born a thief than to born a mumu...
Proverbs are not for kids....

English

I am confident that President Tinubu is on the right path to fixing Nigeria. Anyone with a deep understanding of our nation's structural challenges knows that the work being done today is foundational. While these reforms are undeniably painful, they are the only viable way forward. In time, even his critics will come to appreciate the bold and necessary steps he is taking today

This is the first time in 12 years that Nigeria has celebrated Christmas, New Year, and Eid-el-Fitri in peace!
On Friday, December 26, 2025, which was Boxing Day, no less a personality than the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Reverend Daniel Okoh, revealed that the Christmas of 2025 was the first time in many years that Nigeria had celebrated that August day in peace, without bombings, killings, abductions, or disruptions.
Of course, since it was good news, that piece of significant, nationally strategic information did not receive much media attention. Peter Obi, the eternal purveyor of bad and fake news, did not amplify it because it did not fit into his narrative of de-marketing Nigeria. He had eagerly anticipated bad news during the Yuletide to feed his propaganda machine. Alas, there was none!
But you may want to fact-check me by reading the Most Reverend Okoh's comments.
At least, nobody can accuse him of trying to curry favour with President Tinubu.
But was it only the Christmas that was peaceful? No!
Nigeria entered New Year's Day without incident: no deaths, threats, or anything to negatively affect the health of Nigerians on that day.
And now, we have celebrated Eid-el-Fitri on Friday, March 20, 2023, and the Durbars that followed the next day all over Northern Nigeria, without a single incident of killing, maiming, harming, or any damning event.
Do you know the last time this happened? Please fact-check me: The last time was twelve years ago!
Not only that, but there were no Yuletide or Eid fuel shortages. That is an all-time record. There has been no precedent for that in independent Nigeria!
However, you do not see the usual suspects, activists, and professional pessimists and their foreign sponsors highlighting this fact. They are silent. Good news is not to be celebrated.
But if one person had been killed by an act of terror or sheer criminality, you would have seen them hyperactively amplifying the bad news to destroy Nigeria's reputation!
Do these people, or the larger Nigerian society, think that these feats on religious holy days and holidays just happened?
No, they did not!
They were made to happen through the planning, actions, and sacrifices of our armed forces and intelligence services.
Our troops slept in bushes, deserts, forests, gutters, and other utterly nasty places so we could sleep in our beds and enjoy peace and bliss!
Many of the terrorists and bandits, who in Christmases and Eids of time past had been wreaking havoc on Nigeria and Nigerians, have either been killed, are behind bars, or are in the process of being tried, including:
1. Kachalla Ali Kawaje
2. Kachalla Halilu Sububu
3. Kachalla Damina
4. Kachalla Dangote
5. Kachalla Jafaru
6. Kachalla Barume
7. Kachalla Shehu
8. Tsoho
9. Kachalla Yellow Mai Buhu
10. Yellow Sirajo
11. Kachalla Dan Muhammadu
12. Kachalla Makasko
13. Yellow Hassan
14. Boderi
15. Kachalla Dan Ba birki
16. Auta Dan Mai Jan Kai
The notorious TikTok bandit, Sule Yellow, was arrested only last week by troops of the Nigerian Army, who acted on intelligence provided by our intelligence services.
He was captured and arrested, mind you, not killed, so he can sing like a canary and expose his fellow marauders.
Just three weeks ago, the Department of State Security captured the sixth Owo Church attacker, one Sani Yusuf, who is a high-value ISWAP asset.
It is because of the proactiveness of the NSA's office and the DSS's structure that these breakthroughs, which led to peaceful festivities, occurred.
Yes, I know the nature of the typical Nigerian on social media. Many will troop under this post to insult and be negative.
You and I should sympathise with such folk. Margaret Mitchell, in her book Gone With the Wind, warned us about them a hundred years ago.
Though she was rather racist, she nevertheless did speak some truth when she wrote that some of our race prefer spreading bad news to good.

PRESS STATEMENT
In the last 24 hours, social media has exploded over my interview with Mehdi Hassan, albeit with varied opinions. Let me set the record straight.
When I signed on to the privileged job granted to me by Mr. President, I was well aware of its implications. Selling ice cream, looking fine, and seeking the praises of men were never part of it. Some of the fiercest critics of my interview can not even stand local TV anchors. But the task of promoting and defending the President and his administration is what I do with ease and joy. I am prepared to appear before any interviewer, anywhere in the world, any day and at any time, to defend this government and its policies.
I have never, and will never, subscribe to ducking or dodging interviews on matters that concern promoting and defending the administration I was appointed to serve. It is the least of what is required of me.
Head to Head contacted me requesting an interview, stating that they wanted to challenge our government on security, the economy, and corruption. Nowhere in our almost six months of communication did they mention that they were going to challenge my past. If that had been their plan, ethically and professionally, they were supposed to inform me so I could prepare my response. But that’s okay, ethically, that is on them, not on me.
I refused to swallow the pill of Mehdi’s “opposition research-style journalism,” and even today, if you carefully compare what he read as quotes from organisations and groups, you will see that many were inaccurate and some were outright fake news. But I will leave that for another day.
As for what I said about President Tinubu in the past, I am glad those were things I said when I was in the opposition saddle with such zeal. It is all politics. Half of Donald Trump’s cabinet is made up of people who once spoke against him, and quite a number of people in our own cabinet also spoke against President Tinubu in the past. Those things do not bother him if you care to know.
The majority of the naysayers are members of the opposition and their sympathisers. It does not bother me one bit. Their temporary excitement over the interview has not lasted and will not last, because it does not take away their obvious problem of lack of vision, mission in conducting and managing a political party; yet they seek to manage Nigeria. Clearly they have no path to victory and no alternative policies or program for the Nigerian people. And if they say they do, they can as well go to head to head and be interrogated on that; as the saying in Hausa goes “Ga fili Ga doki”
I conclude by thanking the many Nigerians and non-Nigerians who sent in their commendations over my brave defence of our government in an interview where the anchor would hardly let you answer a question unless it suited his narrative.
I still have admiration and respect for Mehdi Hassan as arguably the best debater on the planet. I look forward to part two of the Head to Head interview, and I am glad that by then questions about my past will no longer be news so that we can focus on our administration’s policies, programs and what we have achieved so far.
Stay tuned.
