What’s a habit you quit that improved your life almost immediately?

A few weeks ago, my Big Mummy called for a family meeting on our WhatsApp group voice call. Her network was acting up, so out of the goodness of my heart, I connected her phone to my WiFi. The meeting started smoothly and everything was going well. About 30 minutes in, I tried to reply to a voice note on my phone, and she immediately shouted, “Don’t talk! You’re disturbing the meeting.” She said I wasn’t supposed to make a sound until the meeting was over. I just stood there thinking, “This same meeting that can sometimes last three hours?” 😭 I didn’t argue. Instead, I quietly started switching my airplane mode on and off. 😂 Her connection started breaking up almost immediately. She called me to come and check what was wrong. I “fixed” it… then two minutes later, I switched airplane mode on again. I repeated the process about five times until she got so frustrated that she left the call herself. 😭
