Strongly resonate with this article I came into crypto as a starry-eyed dreamer, full of imagination about the Good future crypto could bring I see much less of that in me now But also, I was dumb and naïve back then. I knew nothing! I have much more experience and groundedness today. Crypto will still do the things I dreamed it would do when I first entered... just much slower and more quietly than I originally thought

every podcast has 120 clips minimum intro, outro, each question, each answer, each laugh, each pause you see one conversation but i see inventory this turns into thousands of unique pieces of content when you blend podcasts together clipping is just being good at math

women were designed to test the strength of men moody, spontaneous, demanding, sensual, dangerous not to be conquered, but to be understood the riddle man was never meant to solve, only survive

@lexmtn Is it true resonance then or just projection?

In interpersonal relationships, there is a phenomenon where two people with unspoken resonance, for whatever reason, never fully express the extent of the love they feel for one another. Resonance is a peculiar thing, because true resonance is paradoxical, it holds the highest form of love yet equally the most unsettling, piercing energy when it unflinchingly reflects back fragmentation and destabilising avoided truths. Because burying is easier, such resonance often remains implicit - thus it is felt, but not entirely lived. This pent-up need to love, carrying the signature of compulsion, becomes like a dam. Unlived love does not disappear. It builds. The unexpressed affection, longing, and compulsion create pressure. The longer it is suppressed, the more it distorts both the psyche and the choices one makes. The recurring pattern is that one or both usually escape into less confronting relationships where the full extent of that which could not be gifted is unabashedly released. Yet, it is a form of lying to one's soul when done with a lesser replica who lacks resonance. A safer vessel enables the evasion of rawness evoked by the original mirror, that is why it never feels enough, that something that cannot be easily named is missing. It is the glamourised dance of cowardice, one that will sooner or later loop back. Such is the tragedy of truth avoidance. What is most real remains unintegrated.

Hot women are the backbone of the economy. Everyone works all day to make money to spend on hot women and therefore if there were no hot women no one would work

The most endearing aspect of a man is his indomitable will to keep becoming. It is this resilience, authenticity, and subtle intensity - tempered in hardship - that moves the moon to weep into the sea. Brute-forcing reality until it bends to the contours of his musculature.

Living like this isn’t a flex. Are you a toddler or a third-worlder, incapable of building anything that resembles a real home? Nothing but pure slop.

I need a better travel backpack. Needs to fit easily under a plane seat but is big enough to be able to hold my laptop and some podcast equipment. And my steam deck. Who’s got the world’s greatest travel backpack?

“Wouldn’t settle” = maintains standards despite pain “Settles” = abandons standards to escape pain “Wouldn’t settle” accepts sadness of any intensity if that’s the necessary price. “Settles” pays a price out of desparation to escape pain, and finds themselves with a sadness they can’t escape for any price. “Who lives more fully” is a trap, often said by people advocating “settling” to people whose instinct says “don’t settle.” When people say it they often mean “come on, live a little! Just lower your standards!” This is how I would parse this. It is a great mirror question in my opinion because it requires untangling the smuggled moral implication of the words/phrases themselves, which is necessary in life. “Sadness” is good if it’s necessary in service of maintaining standards. “Living more fully” is bad if it comes at the price of sacrificing standards. People who can’t untangle these types of questions are the type who get talked into settling in various aspects of their life. For myself, I prefer the pain of not settling, of maintaining standards (this is itself the prize), and if that pain nevers ends I simply accept that as the price worth paying.
