I announced my resignation from @HPSSchool effective from the end of Term 2. It was a tough decision to make but I sincerely believe a different skillset is needed for the next 10 years. 20 years of principalship coming to an end but will keep poking around in the sector

1/2:Mauao te rū nei taku ngākau. Tauranga gave me so much growing up, but not an environment where I could be all of myself, all of the time - queer or Māori. It breaks my heart to see this cycle continue in various forms through the stories of racism, homophobia and transphobia

This was my Library growing up. She may not look very grand from the outside but I was always excited to go there, I went at least 2 times a week. On the 1st visit I would pick books for the week, the 2nd time was Library Club. I even saw The Dark Crystal for the 1st time there.
