one more thing i have to say though. as a black woman it really really hurts that there’s no identity in which i feel comfortable that isn’t automatically attached to sex. it’s not new but it’s painful. when all i want to be in this life is just a beautiful black woman. regardless if no one really actually understands. regular ppl think i fuck men and men make it very clear they want to fuck me, and then being in a black queer space being told my identity actually also means you follow these very specific rules when you have sex or else you’re not it and you should stop using a label you don’t understand. i’m a person who actually understands the need for labels, it smooths things out for me in a way that’s easier to communicate. where i drop off are the strict associations. cus if you’re masc your femme can’t fuck you whatever that means

high femme isn’t also an inherently sexual term. no labels an inherently sexual term. so why does being a pillow princess automatically tie to being high femme ? i’m high femme. it most definitely is not just about being girly, it’s a performance in a. sense like everything else is. i as a black woman find a lot of comfort in being high femme bc not only was femininity not meant for me, it allows me to cultivate an identity outside what women should be and what a black woman should be. where does the fact that like i like to be choked go into that
