Tactical switch from Arne Slot has brought back Salah we’ve known for years. His runs, movement, and overall sharpness in this game have been absolutely world class. This is what we get when the team plays to Salah’s strengths. Keep him isolated on the wing & we struggle again.

10 minutes to go, 1–0 up… lose 2–1 at Anfield. That’s a terrible result. Liverpool can’t afford to miss out on the Champions League, especially after spending big in the summer. It would be a massive financial and sporting blow while rivals are strengthening fast.

Kloop cared about the development of young players and knew the names of every player and coach at our academy. Kloop also cared about the club infrastructure because he understood that a football club is not just the first team.

Adama Traoré was available for just £2m. Liverpool needs a player like him. someone who can take on defenders, outmuscle them and create space. We don’t have that profile right now. He doesn’t fit FSG’s 20–22 age model, but he’d have made more impact than Gakpo.
