Gutter Cat Gang was something I admired long before I was ever involved. Watching OGs like @CrazyCryptoCarl create real branding and platforms was what this place was for and built on. Like many in Web3, I watched it from the outside as it built real culture in the NFT space. When the opportunity came to acquire a cat and step in, it wasn’t just a leverage move to me it was something I genuinely believed in. But Web3 moves fast, and visions don’t always stay aligned. At a certain point, the direction no longer felt like the GCG I believed in, so I made the decision to step away. It wasn’t easy. I traded my way up and then out. I’ve always believed Gutter Cat Gang deserved the right leadership, a clear vision, and people who truly care about the community and the brand. A few tried. Then @javmdpr stepped in and created a renewed focus on what made GCG special in the first place. I’m back and fully supportive of where things are heading. Sometimes the path in this space isn’t linear. Sometimes you step away so things can realign. GCG was never about one person.
It’s the cats.
It’s the community.
