Happy to attend @sigdial at Avignon University, France. I will be presenting a paper about our Track 1 challenge at DSTC12 on Thursday, which is part of our activities at @ASTOUND_project funded by @EU_Commission through the EIC Pathfinder program.

Today learning more on entrepreneurship on AI-based technologies at #IEN (Industriales Escuela de Negocios) thanks to @actuaupm and as part of the transfer and innovation activities we do for the @ASTOUND_project.

Yesterday and today I'm attending a course on cybersecurity organized by @enisa_eu. Really insightful the implications & challenges for AI and companies to implement secure systems protocols at different levels, including LLMs as the ones developed by @ASTOUND_project.

This week I have been attending IWSDS2025 in Bilbao, Spain. An event supported by @ASTOUND_project and #EICAwarenessInside. More than 60 participants and 40 papers on Spoken Dialogue Systems. My research group contributes with 3 papers. Check them on @aclanthology.

Together with the @La_UPM and many other universities in Madrid, we are meeting today with the president of the EIC Mr. Michiel Scheffer on how to improve the EIC programs. I'm here to provide my experience as coordinator in @ASTOUND_project and as participant in @awareness_eic.

Today attending the Infoday organized by the European Innovation Council in Madrid to talk about EIC Pathfinder & Transition programs. One of the invited talks is given by our PO @Carlos_Casorran of our @ASTOUND_project . Let's learn how to contribute to Europe innovation.

Today I will be moderating a panel session about social robotics with experts from different fields including brain computers, IoT, CV, BionInformatics and AI robots at ICSR2024, Shenzhen, China. Meanwhile enjoying the keynotes.
