@edmcgreal They can sign as many petitions as they like, won't make any difference.there won't be referendum which is what would be needed to change the Constitution to change the requirements to get on the ballot.
English

@SkySportsPL Typical overreaction of pundits.he might not get in the team.look at some of the big names that went to Madrid with more experience than him and didn't make any kind of impact.
English

@Conmort Thought they signed Barrett for those exact big games and when one comes along he doesn't start, mind boggling.Management teams fall on their sword based on decisions like that.
English

Fairly obvious Nienaber won’t be at Leinster long. Shocking call and most deffo a career defining one.

@walledpictures @edmcgreal Depending on who you're talking to its a toss up as to whether it's more beneficial winning or losing on Sunday.with the way the groups look id side with keeping momentum and winning as a Galway man.
English

I know there's a reason re planning for doing draws now but having teams trying to work out if they're better off losing a provincial final further undermines the provincials.
PS Kerry again get a soft draw!

Group Stage set for the All-Ireland SFC! 💥 Some big clashes ahead in the race for Sam Maguire. 🏆
English

@romanc_95 @edmcgreal More to the point it could be the case that they're undercooked like some would argue they were last year after a similarly easier group last year.
English

@edmcgreal You say “Kerry again get a soft draw” like we asked for that draw. I promise you the majority of Kerry fans wanted a tough group rather than the snooze fest we got. I’ll go to all 3 games as always but guaranteed this draw we got means 95% of Kerry fans will now wait for Croker.

@ConorMcgivney @racingblogger They're required to have it displayed in the shop but like most things in life there's ways around that.usually displayed in the small print(very small)in obscure places in the shop.it definitely won't be in big unmissable writing.
English

@racingblogger Can I ask mate in cases like this should bookies not has a responsibility to tell customers the max stake they can place to hit the max payout??

🚨 BREAKING: Stable lad Dylan Phelan's €30 each-way double will be paid out by Ladbrokes: 👇
He placed the bet at a shop in Limerick on the morning of the races at prices of 80-1 and 125-1 for a life-changing payout of €319,440 (£272,694)
Ladbrokes' maximum payout in a betting shop is €100,000.
I'd say Dylan will be sinking pints at Punchestown for fun next week!! 🍻 🥳
Stephen R Power@racingblogger
This is nothing short of a complete disgrace from @Ladbrokes You lay a bet, you pay the bet. A PR disaster at it's finest bringing shame on the entire betting industry. Give this man his €300,000 winnings and stop being such pathetic losers.
English

@SeamusDuke @RoscommonPeople @RoscommonGAA Total dominance by the Galway midfield in fairness, helped by the Galway forwards closing down the options for a short kickout.forcing the goalie to go long and play to Galway's strength.anytime Roscommon got in Galway's half they scored but it wasn't nearly often enough
English

Not at the races to be honest. Well beaten . @RoscommonPeople @RoscommonGAA
English

@Conmort The 18th in regulation was either gonna haunt him for eternity or spur him on.Greats use that pressure to dig out a result.every shot he hit on the playoff hole was better than what Rose could muster.
English

@JohnStagg5 @lahardanegaa The right corner back for them was the cut out of Padraig O'Hora and not just looks wise either.he was one of those sticky, dogged, all elbows and knees backs that the good forwards hate playing against.
English

Great to see @lahardanegaa finest Mattie Queenan still playing his heart out for New York. One of the most whole hearted guys that I've ever came across in all my time involved in football.
English

@BlackBoxBetting @MAXBloodstock They only bought him in Oct,and by Willie's own admission they hadn't done a lot with him.Considering the form the yard has been in it's a surprise even with it being unraced he went off that price.
English

@MAXBloodstock @icyestretro Well he didn't say that, but that's what he meant. Either way, zero fluke about the performance if not had in-depth schooling or got him 100% fit. Makes it an even better performance and if they'd gone another 100 yards he'd be 5L clear
English

@emmanagle Possibly, don't think hed outstay fact to file in a finish anyway. But looking at the how the race panned out and how far out Fact to file put him to the sword and how he finished ya would wonder if he gave his true running.
English

@liam_holleran Hmm maybe but don’t think he’d have stormed up the hill either way
English

@TheIrishField Think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say that performance silenced the doubters. He started the season as a potential Grade 1 horse and I doubt they ever envisaged running him in a handicap at Cheltenham.Considering the fee he'd want to be winning a bit more than a handicap.

Bit ridiculous to leave him sitting and bring in gakpo who was miles of being fit

@emmanagle PSG were the better team over two legs, the galling bit there is that Majborough made a howler and was still beaten less than a length
English

@Conmort And potentially some of the 3 big lads that are out of contract
English

@EndaMcGearty Definitely fitter now and the form has accompanied that,Looks like Shane is fully fit and firing now too.definitely gives cause for optimism.
