@Suheeeem Pope would be decent if he batted normally. Jacks isn’t a good enough at test level. I think we’ve seen enough of Crawley. New style, approach to test cricket is what this team needs. Tongue, bethell, brook, tongue, Atkinson, pope all young enough to build a team around.

@tim_michell All for picking next era. But you have to earn it. Hasn’t played in enough first class cricket to get a game yet. He will be a player if we don’t rush him. Next players to come in should be Renshaw, Kellaway, McSweeney, O’Neill, Murphy, Kuhnemann, Webster, Konstas, Doggett.

The more I think about it, Cooper Connolly should play in the Sydney Test. Bat at 6, bowl a few overs on a pitch that might offer some spin. Perfect chance to pick a player for the next era.

@Quartermain10 Way too hard on Usman. Last test batted very well. This test great 1st inn and terrible shot 2nd inn. Green should have made 100 at Gabba, he threw it away. Now down on confidence. Don’t think public pressure is helping. Marnus has been very disappointing. Weatherald shaky.
