@AllLoveLeeds If I remember rightly, the company who did there expansion didn’t seem to piss about either getting it all up. The stand they demolished was very similar to ours. Can’t wait to see it actually progress!

@liam_lightowler We’re going to build on top of it first and retain fans in the existing West stand. Not sure how it’ll work exactly, but it’s not demolishing the base so to speak, but expanding on top of it and then moving onto that. Basically what Liverpool did with their expansion.

@josh_t95 Yeah I read somewhere it’ll be getting built over the top before the bottom tier goes in which you assume will be next summer so it’s ready for the 2027/28 season if all goes to plan.

@liam_lightowler I'd imagine it'll stay together, save for the roof while they build the new one behind. Idea was that the work doesn't affect capacity

@josh_t95 Not wrong there! I go past the ground every day on the way to work and it’s been class seeing all the little changes, I imagine now’s where it starts to come down for good though. Bit sad really but needs to happen.
