Today is the 10th consecutive day that somewhere in the UK has reached a temperature of 30C or higher.
If you're after some rain, the outlook isn't looking good.

Gusts for England and Wales will reach 20-35mph - especially for coasts and hills.
Daytime temperatures will also fall by a few degrees for many.
As of today, the UK has recorded 34C or higher for 8 days so far this year - the highest number on record in a calendar year - and there's still half of summer to go.
The previous record was 7 days of 34C or above, which happened in 2020 and 1976.
The temperature has reached 35.3C in Wisley, Surrey, as of 3.07pm today.
Temperatures are widely into the high 20s and low 30s across England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland are relatively cooler.
