Don't want to be boring but total prize money for Newcastle's jump fixture on Tuesday is £43.9k compared with £75k for same fixture in 2023, a reduction of 41.5%. The feature 0-130 chase is £11.7k down from £18k and the mares 0-120 handicap hurdle £7.7k down from £14.5k. I genuinely don't like being the guy drawing attention to this but someone has to and it is important all stakeholders realise how initiatives such as Sunday Evening Racing are actually being funded - this isn't new money, others are paying for it.
