To show this, we compared xGA conceded vs PSxG faced to look at what happens after a chance is given up, and how that differs across teams. PSxG − xGA • Negative = opponents turn chances into worse shots • Positive = chances become high-quality attempts Villa rank best in the league at reducing shot quality. Manchester United rank worst.
