Uwajimaya in Seattle got me spoiled. I went to Whole Foods in Palm Desert today cuz I wanted to make a few things from the Nobu cookbook. I asked for nori sheets, konbu, sushi grade toro, and bonito flakes. They looked at me like a freaking alien. You’re in the desert now baby 😆

@AmyBonaduce I may have broke down on a flight once because I was putting all my energy to hold onto the coffee pot that was right above me during awful turbulence. Didn’t want it to fall on me! They offered me a free drink! It was a bit much for me.

Fun fact. I do not handle turbulence well.

Ok I just made homemade ranch and it’s bomb. We all know, Hidden Valley ranch seasoning, equal parts buttermilk and mayo. But here’s my personal touch — use McCormick brand mayonnaise with lime juice and shake in a ton of dill. Trust.

@ranhea1751 Sooooo many hours of my junior high and high school Friday nights were spent there. I know many of the schools use it as a PTA fundraiser. Glad it will remain!
