UPDATE: The City of Saskatoon has reopened all lanes of University Bridge to traffic after a small fire under the bridge. Some traffic restrictions and delays are expected through the week while repairs are made. ckom.com/2026/03/09/all…

Dan Willems, director of technical services with the City of Saskatoon, went so far as to call the driver that damaged the Circle Drive overpass at Hwy 11 & 16 yesterday a “blockhead” during a scrum at City Hall today @CKOMNews He says the City is frustrated over the incident.
