@liberalpistons Plus he can play defense, and the idea of him, Carr, and Ausar all on the court seems so fun. Playing with their hair on fire running transition it would be so much fun. I’m good on Lauri personally. Not athletic enough and needs the ball in his hands to put up his star numbers

@jacob41390450 Fs. I’ve been so high on Carr for a while… he was slotted at 21-22 before the combine when his stock jumped. I’ve been back and forth on TM3… would likely be a much more reasonable price

@liberalpistons I hear Lauri’s asking price is basically double this, Norman is going to get 20 plus mill.
I doubt Carr is there at 21 but I’m willing to trade up, Carr is a dog and fits perfectly here.
Realistically finding a way to get TMlll, Carr, and resign Duren would be a dream offseason!

@N88TRAORE He’s not getting 20m+ from any contender so I feel his market is either getting paid on a bad team or taking a vet minimum to contribute to a championship run. Could very well take the latter, most guys do

@travismattox4 At a 1 year minimum what’s the risk? Best case, he adds scoring depth. Worst case, we eat 2m in cap space

Obviously CT isn't a 3 & D guy, but on a minimum contract he could be a low risk to address bench scoring. Shamet and Powell are guys that could be worth more or take paycuts to play on a contender

Lauri loses a lot of value for the Jazz if they trade up for AJ, which they’re reportedly trying to do. The vets help them be competitive in the short term, the lack of draft capital reflects the lost value
