I don’t think Leon would be the kind of person to try preventing inevitable trauma, because deep down he’d understand that if he had never been involved in the Raccoon City incident, so many people would’ve died without his help afterward. Sherry, Claire, maybe both of them (and depending on the path you choose, Claire’s absence could’ve caused even more damage. Either way, both Leon and Claire played a role in defeating Mr. X and Birkin) Then later there’s Claire again during Degeneration, Angela, Ashley, Patrick, Alexander, Grace, and so many civilians. Like, so many. Leon is deeply compassionate and constantly puts other people’s well-being above his own, even when it comes to his younger self. So honestly, I think older Leon wouldn’t try to stop rookie Leon from entering that road. Instead, he’d try to convince him to keep moving forward. He’d probably repeat the phrase “Never make plans that far ahead,” insisting that one day Leon would understand what it truly means. And he’d definitely give that rookie a hug, because he deserves one 💔

is it just me or have fandoms become noticeably and increasingly more miserable (people with superiority complexes, i'm right and you're wrong mentality over the stupidest shit, unhinged stalker and parasocial behavior, straight up mean girl energy) the past couple of years

True, I stopped blaming myself for everything I did in the past, because back then I was only acting based on what I understood at the time. I can’t punish the older version of me forever for not knowing better.

Leon can be extremely selfless and caring when it comes to civilian character—in Damnation when he finally got free he never once tried to take his tactical gear back from JD instead he let JD have his tactical gear as long as JD needed so that JD would be able to protect himself

leon became a cop because of an officer that saved his life and inspired him to try and help others as well. leon is such a sentimental person, loyal to those he holds dear. he even carries his father lighter with him to always feel like he's there with leon

I HATEEEEEEE when some people start gaining followers and suddenly thinks they're some kind of fandom police 🙄 trying to control everyone else's interpretations. They're insufferable !!
