gMiden @0xMiden + delegated proving + Gateway’s Shared Prover Zero-knowledge is powerful - but proving is expensive. Executing a transaction on a smartphone is fast. Generating a ZK proof for that execution is not. Even on modern phones, proof generation can take tens of seconds. On lower-end devices, it can be unreliable or fail entirely. That UX simply doesn’t work for mainstream apps. Miden tackles this problem head-on. Instead of compromising on security or usability, Miden adopts a delegated proof-generation model. The architecture is clear • Execution happens locally on the user’s device • Proof generation is delegated to specialized infrastructure Edge execution and trust minimization are preserved. This is where Gateway’s Shared Prover comes in. A fleet of high-performance machines, purpose - built for zero-knowledge proving, handles the heavy computation. Key point The Shared Prover is not a trusted party. Users control execution. The prover only computes proofs. Verification remains fully cryptographic and on - protocol. This design allows Miden to deliver • Mobile-friendly UX • Edge-first execution • ZK-based scalability without forcing users to own powerful hardware. Miden isn’t optimizing for “theoretical ZK purity.” It’s building a ZK rollup / OS that real users can actually use. Delegated proving + Shared Provers make that possible.
