In a cringey turn of events, I gave my first ever (wishing it's my last) speech in Hindi today on my research. It was at a workshop seating 40 farmers in Dudhnoi, Assam. But I was tantalized when an observer told me my hindi sounds Arunachal. Lowkey made me glad because why not!
