The thing with Eddie Izzard was that he was clearly a bloke wearing Women’s clothing, and make-up, and using that as part of his comedic presentation. It worked because he was not saying he was a woman. It was funny. Now he’s doing the same but saying he is a woman he’s no longer funny. He’s just pathetic. Destroyed his career. Sad.
